Become A Prayer Partner

Join us in covering foster and adoptive families with the Father’s love.

At Father’s Heart Families, we believe that prayer is powerful and essential. Every child, parent, and volunteer in the foster and adoptive journey faces spiritual, emotional, and physical challenges — and your prayers make a real difference. By becoming a Prayer Partner, you join a movement of believers standing in faith for families to experience hope, healing, and restoration through Christ.

What Prayer Partners Do

Our Prayer Partners commit to faithfully lift up families, leaders, and the mission of Father’s Heart Families. You can serve in one or more of these ways:

  • Pray Weekly — Receive a short email or text with current prayer requests and praises from families and ministry teams.
  • Adopt a Family in Prayer — Cover a specific foster or adoptive family with consistent prayer, encouragement, and Scripture.
  • Join the Monthly Prayer Gathering — Gather virtually or in person with other Prayer Partners to intercede for children, parents, and church partners. Coming soon!
  • Pray for the Ministry — Stand with us as we equip churches and connect families to the resources, mentorship, and care they need.

Why It Matters

When you pray, you help:

  • Strengthen families in hard seasons.
  • Encourage weary hearts with God’s peace.
  • Open doors for community, healing, and provision.
  • Invite God’s presence into homes, decisions, and ministries.

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” — James 5:16

How to Get Started

Becoming a Prayer Partner is simple:

  1. Sign Up using our short Prayer Partner form below.
  2. Receive Monthly Prayer Emails with current requests, praises, and Scriptures.
  3. Pray Faithfully, trusting God to move in every family and every need.
  4. Encourage Others — invite your small group, church, or family to join the prayer team too!

Optional: Join the Prayer & Care Team

If you feel called to go deeper, consider joining our Prayer & Care Team — volunteers who not only pray but also send notes of encouragement, Scripture cards, or small blessings to families throughout the year.

Every prayer makes a difference.

Together, we are creating a covering of faith and love over foster and adoptive families — reminding them they are seen, supported, and never alone.
