About Father’s Heart Families

“God sets the lonely in families.” — Psalm 68:6

At Father’s Heart Families, we believe every child deserves to know the safety, love, and belonging that comes through family — and that the Church is called to help make that possible.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to equip and mobilize churches to support, strengthen, and sustain foster and adoptive families through faith-based community care, practical resources, and prayer. We also exist to connect families with the tools, resources, and mentorship they need to build lasting connection and thrive on their journey.

We know that the path of fostering or adopting is both beautiful and challenging — filled with moments of joy, exhaustion, and deep transformation. No family should have to walk it alone. That’s why Father’s Heart Families stands in the gap — to ensure that every family has the spiritual, emotional, and practical support they need to flourish.

What We Do

We partner with local churches and community members to:

  • Build Care Communities around foster and adoptive families — small, dedicated teams who provide meals, childcare, prayer, and encouragement, etc.
  • Train and equip churches to launch sustainable foster and adoption ministries rooted in trauma-informed and gospel-centered care.
  • Connect families with tools, resources, and mentorship to help them navigate challenges and experience healing.
  • Create opportunities for service so everyone in the Body of Christ can play a role — from preparing a meal to becoming a mentor or prayer partner.

Through these efforts, we seek to help churches live out James 1:27 — caring for the vulnerable in practical, sustainable, and Spirit-led ways.

Our Heart

We believe family is God’s chosen vessel for healing — and that when the Church surrounds foster and adoptive families with consistent love, it becomes a reflection of the Father’s own heart. Our passion is to see families restored, equipped, and strengthened through both community and Christ.

Father’s Heart Families isn’t just an organization; it’s a growing movement of faith-filled believers answering God’s call to defend the fatherless and empower those who do.
